My smartwatch became bricked 🥲 after I installed new firmware on it

There are countless smartwatch model available in today, I think it belong two major type (except Apple).

• Wear OS’s watch

  It has to work with spy App like Google or Samsung.

• Chinese watch

  It also work with spy App, but in same special model it can use opensource App instead.

I chose the Amazfit GTR 2e(Chinese watch) because it can work with Gadgetbridge, at least all of the data belong to myself and also it is cheap! So I bought the Amazfit GTR 2e in May, 2023(before I came to Japan) on online second hand market. By the way, Amazfit’s device is highly supported by Gadgetbridge.

I don’t think it is a good watch, it has too much item in screen which i don’t need but i can’t remove it. But it has step counter, sleep tracking that is what i need.

It is a Chinese version and it can’t change the language, so today I tried to install Global firmware into it to solve this problem, then it became bricked.

It is time to try a new watch~
